My family and friends were please with the exceptional service we received from a very professional and considerate staff. Everything was organized and well presented. I don’t think my mother could have asked for a better service.

JoAnn Van Brussel Heady, 75, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Baptist Health. She was a homemaker, a member of O.E.S. Powell Chapter #266 in Lebanon, KY, and Eastern Gate Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bill Heady; two sons, Michael Ward (Debbie) and Doug Thomas (Kim); stepchildren, Troy Heady and Angela Lynn Clout; one brother, Kenneth R. Skaggs, Jr. (Joyce); four sisters, Barbara Newton (Leon), Diane Smith (Steve), Donna Williams (Butch), and Sharon Blandford (Bobby); along with four grandchildren, Jeffrey Ward (Tonya), Dianne Ward, Michael Thomas (Mary), and Kevin Thomas (Brittany); and four great grandchildren, Tori, Ethan, Gabriel, and Lukas Ray. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Kentucky Humane Society.
