Aaron Orville Hahn, 70, of Shepherdsville, passed away February 25, 2026 at his home. He was retired from A.L. Post General Contractors. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, darts, skeet shooting, and loved his job. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ishmael and Helen Hahn; along with a brother, Michael Wayne Hahn. He is survived by his loving wife, Carla Roby Hahn; a son, Derek Hahn (Jordann); two daughters, Michelle Perkins and Misty Weed; two sisters, Teri Sorrell (Paul) and Penny Mattingly (Anthony); six grandchildren, Courtney Melancon, Emily Grow (Trevor), Andrew Mahoney (Heather), Cameron Dudley, Neal Hahn, and Juniper Erynn Hahn; five great-grandchildren, Koulter Grow, Nova Leigh Grow, Ollie Mahoney, Delanae Mahoney, and Addie Mae Mahoney; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions are suggested to Kosair Charities or St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
