Alona Lucinda "Lucy" Smith

Alona L. "Lucy" Smith, 52, of Louisville, passed away December 28, 2025 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  She was a CNA for Clipboard. She was preceded in death by her father, David Smith; her husband, Beau Hawkins; along with two sisters, Sandra Kay Grubbs and Sharon Marie Woods.  She is survived by her mother, Betty Asbury; two sons, Randy (Yarely) and Matthew Sheppard; two brothers, Paul Dennis (Donna) and David Smith, Jr.; six sisters, Vicki Eberle, Elaine Downs (Allen), Debra Cunningham (Gary), Belinda Lewellen (Myron), Judy Geary (Steven), and Dava Vincent (Vince); along with a special, life-long friend, Paula Rogers.  Friends may visit Thursday, January 1, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow the visitation.
