Ann Sharon (Ozee) Siweck

July 23, 1938 ~ December 31, 2025 (age 87) 87 Years Old

Ann Sharon Siweck Obituary

Ann Sharon Siweck, 87, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, Dec. 31, 2025, at Baptist East Hospital, surrounded by her family.  She was born July 23, 1938, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Cleo (Carter) Ozee.  A graduate of Decatur High School, she also attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO.  She was wed to law enforcement officer and high school classmate Donald R. Siweck on June 7, 1959, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God; and they were blessed with two children, Eric and Kara.

Sharon was a professional organist, pianist, and accordionist; an author in “Chicken Soup for the Grandmother’s Soul” and other stories and articles; and an international speaker at Christian women’s conferences.  She worked at General Motors Acceptance Corporation; the Macon County Clerk’s office; and the Missoula County Motor Vehicles Department and Accounting Department.  She owned her own hair salon in Decatur and Princeton, and a Merle Norman Cosmetics studio in Princeton, IL, during the 1970’s; she raised Sealyham terriers since the 1960’s, and leaves behind her last puppy Katie Rose.  She lived in Decatur and Bureau Co., IL; Missoula, MT; and in retirement lived in Branson, MO, and Tampa and Leesburg, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don, and an infant great-granddaughter Penelope Stohrer.  She is survived by her son Eric Siweck (Julieanne); daughter Kara Underwood (Matt); grandsons Carter Siweck (Mollie) and Adam Cleland (Briana); granddaughters Shannon Siweck, and Joscelyn Cleland Stohrer (Shawn); great-grandchildren Penny, Milo, and Nellie Cleland; Bianca and Jack Stohrer; and one namesake on the way Margot Ann Siweck.  She is also survived by her brother Jerry Ozee (Shirley) and their daughters Gretchen Cawthon and Ericka Yeley and their respective families.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. with funeral service at 7 p.m. Tues., Jan. 6, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mt. Washington, KY, with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Missoula, MT, where a celebration of life will be held in the Summer of 2026, details TBA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the American Cancer Society.
