Barbara Jean (Kuhn) Adams

Barbara Jean Adams, 74, of Bardstown, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Baptist Health, Louisville.  Barbara was a retired employee of Bell South where she worked for 30 years.  She enjoyed her time outside, walking with her work friends, doing yardwork, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her three sons, Randall W. Clark, Ernest Carl Adams, and Arthur Ray Adams; her life partner, Robert Clark; son-in-law, Larry King; her parents, Ernest and Jean Kuhn; and a sister, Mary Loretta Kuhn.  Barbara is survived by one daughter Christina "Chrissy" King of Salem, IN; three grandchildren, Joseph Brinley (Tyler), Brenden Brinley, and Christa Hortenberry; one brother, Ernest Kuhn (Marilyn); a nephew, Brian Kuhn (Jane); and niece, Beth Huff (Chris); along with numerous other nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with cremation to follow.  Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until time of service on Thursday.  Memorial gifts in Barbara's memory are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
