Barbara Gail (Guest) Bogard

Barbara Gail Bogard, 73, of Taylorsville, passed away January 3, 2025 at Signature Health of Spencer County.  She was a member of Grace Chapel, Taylorsville, she enjoyed making blankets for the homeless at Christmas, and spending time with her grandkids.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Hazel Guest; along with her husband, James Arnold Bogard Sr..  She is survived by three sons, Donnie Gilkey (Wadena), Timmy Gilkey (Lori), and James Bogard, Jr.; four daughters, Tracey Gilkey, Jammie Bogard, Shannon Bogard Shelburne (Clayton), and Kenberly Bogard Rogers (Clint); one brother, Kevin Guest; a sister, Brenda Weatherholt (Roy); along with 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.
