Barbara Owen Obituary

Barbara Ann Fox Owen, 78, of Mt. Washington, passed away April 5, 2023 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was a controller for NACM, former member of Kings Baptist Church where she was in the Harmony Trio, and is currently a member of the First Baptist Church Mount Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Fox; along with her siblings, J.R., Ernie, Linda, Elizabeth, and Shirley. She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Allen Owen; three daughters, Melanie Driscoll (Jeff), Dawn Huot (Jeff), and Andi Duerod; two sisters, Judy Stephens and Kathryn Lockwood (Ralph); along with ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
