Barbara (Alcorn) Williams

Barbara J. Williams, 85, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2025 in Campbellsville.  Barbara was born on April 10, 1940 in Louisville, KY to the late Claude and Icie Gentry Alcorn.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernon Williams; two sons, Greg and Eric Williams; along with her brothers, Raymond, Randall Drew, Gerald, Ricky, and Steven Alcorn; and two sisters, Kaye Taylor and Connie Wise. Barbara is survived by her son, Bradley Williams; three granddaughters, Jenna Wethington (Shannon), Mollie Tucker (Logan), and Sara Williams; five great grandchildren, Aubrey, Landyn, Avi, Margot, and Flora; one brother, Desi Alcorn; and two sisters-in-law, Verlee Alcorn and Judy Alcorn.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service.  She will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens.   Memorial gifts are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
