With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Beckham Richard- David Troutman, who left this world far too soon at the age of 9 on Monday, July 7, 2025. Born on June 27, 2016, Beckham was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him. He was full of joy, personality, and passion; whether he was showing off his diamond chains, dominating in Fortnite, or cheering on his favorite WWE wrestlers. He had a deep love for rap music, spending time with his cousins, and an even deeper love for his two little brothers, Zeke and Sutton. He was the best big brother and was so proud of his role. Beckham was the sweetest, most caring soul, a boy whose strength and bravery touched everyone around him. His journey showed us what true resilience looks like. Though his time with us was far too short, he left behind a lifetime of lessons to love deeply, to live fully, and to always cherish the little things. Beckham is deeply loved and will be missed more than words can ever express. He will be forever our hero, our heart, our greatest teacher, and our hardest goodbye. Mommy and Daddy love you, and will miss you for a lifetime Beckham. He will be greeted in Heaven by his grandparents, Ella Troutman, Steve Coogle Sr., and Debbie Garner. Beckham is survived by his mother, Courtney Coogle (Cody); his father, Ezra Troutman (Eliza); two brothers, Sutton Mattingly and Zeke Troutman; grandparents, Stacy Clark (Kevin), Steve Coogle Jr. (Melissa), Donna and Karl Mattingly, Ricky Troutman (Angela), Laura Dalton (Dan), Jeff and Jo Perkins; great grandparents, Barbara Coogle, Rita Clark, Matt Ford (JoAnn), Jeanette and Henry Allgeier, Ruby Hall, Ed Hall, Dan and Dorothy, Tom and Barbara Lyons; aunts and uncles, Destiny Bagby (JT), Kevin Clark Jr., Sarah Nicoulin (Brandon), Steven Coogle, Chase Troutman, Jade Troutman, Justin Dalton (Mandy), Daniel Dalton (Maggie), Sara Helfrich (Tyler), Tara Fox (Stacey), and Brian Goff (Kim); and extended uncles, AJ Romine, Trevor Payton, Cruise Coulter, Rhett Troutman, Ted Hightower, and Tyler York; along with a host of extended family and a community of friends. A Celebration of Beckham’s Life will be hosted at Millanova Winery, 744 Gentry Lane, Mt. Washington, on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 12 p.m. with a service honoring him at 4 p.m. The family ask all attendee’s to not wear black; surround them with colors; Purple was Beckham’s favorite color. Memorial gifts are suggested to the curestartsnow.org Kentucky (Beckham’s Bloodline).
