Betty Jacqueline (Owen) French

Betty Jacqueline French, 92, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2022 Norton Women and Children's Hospital.  She was the former Betty Owen, a retired employee of Bullitt Federal Bank, and a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.  She enjoyed quilting, and was a member of the Mt. Washington Quilting Bees, as well as the Mt. Washington Senior Citizens.  She was  preceded in death by her husband, Bill French; and her daughter, Beth Whitehouse.  Betty is survived by her loving son, Mark French.   A Celebration of Life will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.  Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to donor's favorite charity.
