Beverly Ann (Basham) Hammond

Beverly Ann Hammond, 80, of McDaniels, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Baptist Health, Louisville.  She was born on March 1, 1945 in Louisville, KY to the late Howard and Lavon Exie Basham.  Beverly was a retired analyst for the old National City Bank.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading, but her greatest joy was her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hammond, Sr.; and her siblings, Denny Basham, Alene Fryrear, and Lavon Boston.   She is survived by her son, Paul Hammond Jr.; Terri Brown (Jay), David Hammond (Wendy), and Keith Hammond; a daughter-in-law, Patti Hammond; along with four grandchildren, Danielle Mills (Corey), Randall Hammond (Denna), Patricia Thomas, and Austin Hammond (Alyse); and four great grandchildren, Raelyn, Jace, Oakley, and Sawyer.  Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 5 p.m. until time of service.  Memorial gifts in her memory are suggested to Hosparus of Louisville.
