Bobbie Jewell (McCollum) Johnson

Bobbie Jewell Johnson, 88, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Baptist Health. She was a faithful member of First Baptist church of Mt. Washington, where she taught Sunday school for 50 years, worked in the Mother's Day Out Program, and sang in the choir.   She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford E. Johnson.  Bobbie is survived by two daughters, Ramona Stout (David) and Terry Chapman (Mike); three sons, Gene (Toni), Mike (Christy), and Tim (Denise) Johnson; along with 11 Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.  Memorial gifts in Bobbie's memory are suggested to First Baptist Church Missions Fund.
