Carol Elizabeth Branaugh, 76, of Taylorsville, returned to the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Baptist Health. She was the former Carol Irvine, a retired JCPS early education teacher, and a member of Southeast Christian Church. Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Branaugh; two daughters, Lesley Kunkel Smith ( Tracy) and Laura Kunkel McAllister (Grant); one sister, Sylvia Franklin; along with 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Committal service will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2020 in the chapel of Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, Mt. Washington, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hosparus of Louisville. Arrangements were entrusted to McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington.
