Obituary
Carol Ann Sykora, 67, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. Carol was the former Carol Flack, a native of Pennsylvania, and a retired employee of the Jefferson County Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Miller Flack; her brother, Carl Flack, Jr.; and a step granddaughter, Katrina Higgins. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Phillip Sykora; three children, Colleen Pate (Bud), Cheryl Fritsch, and C. J. Fritsch (Jennifer); her father, Carl Flack; step-daughter, Amy Higgins; one sister, Adrienne Hertzog, along with three grandchildren, Brenden Carr, Pandora and Clara Booth; and a step granddaughter, Alisha Higgins. Cremation was chosen. Memorial gifts in Carol's memory are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
