Charles Prentice Ingram, 62, of Taylorsville, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit. He was a truck driver and farmer, a member of Taylorsville Masonic Lodge #210, Bethlehem Baptist Church and a Navy veteran. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and raising cattle. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Wallace Ingram, and a sister, Teresa Ingram. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Mona Ingram; four children, Jeremy Ingram (Amanda), Charlie Partin (Michelle), Emily Manica, and Keeley Whitcomb; stepsons, Kent (Lisa), Shawn (Kaye), and Jared (Beverly) Curtsinger; his mother, Myrtle Ingram; four sisters, Joan Dones (Robbie), Patricia Phillips (Pat), Donna Hatchell (Jerry), Eva Frances Goebel (David); along with nine grandchildren, Kris Lion (Tommy), Jarica Curtsinger, Donna Gail Curtsinger, Anthony Scott Taft, Audrey Manica, Alissa Manica, Marvin Tyler Partin, Grayson Partin, and Gracie Partin; four great great grandchildren, Karley, Neeley, Tanner, and Daniel Lion. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service on Thursday. Memorial gifts are suggested to be made to the family in his memory.
