Charles Albert Young

Charles A. Young, 63, of Mt. Washington, passed away October 15, 2025.  He was a retired, self-employed Tobacco Consultant, co-owner of Crystal's Country Diner, and a member of The Temple - Adath Israel Brith Shalom.  He enjoyed golf, hockey, and horseback riding.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Maryann Young; along with his siblings, Sandy and Kim.  He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Young; two daughters, Shonda Smith (Brad Applegate) and Abby Young; a brother, Eric Young; a sister, Jackie Young; along with three grandchildren, Kayla, Gracie, and Jacob.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.  A memorial visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.
