Charlotte Lorena (Pegram) Leach

Charlotte Lorena Leach, 83, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Autumn Woods Health Campus.  Charlotte was born on October 26, 1940 to the late Charles and Dorothy Pegram in Louisville, KY.   She was very artistic, loved to draw and paint, and enjoyed dancing.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Leach; a great grandson, Joseph; and a brother, Tim Kannapel.  She is survived by three children, Kathy Harris (Harold), Kris Salyer (Cindy) and Keith Salyer; one brother, Danny Kannapel; two sisters, Bobbi Ferguson and Peggy Harrison; four grandchildren, Michelle Harris (Jayme), Kristopher Salyer Jr. (Mimi); Tara Rhudy (Chuck) and Whitney Salyer (Nelson Wells); along with ten great grandchildren, Noah, Anna Beth, Amelia, Jessie, Jodeci, Desta, Destinee, Waseem, Colton and Ethan.  Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2024 at First Christian Church, Mt. Washington, 317 Fairlane Drive, Mt. Washington, KY,  with cremation to follow.  Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until time of service on Sunday.  Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers are suggested to Evangelize Kentucky c/o Kris Salyer.
