Christopher Allen Smith

Christopher Allen Smith, 58, of Bardstown, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at his home.   He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and was a proud truck driver.  He loved his conference calls with the boys, fellow truckers.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Howard; a sister, Denise Smith; and a brother, Michael Smith.  Chris is survived by his wife, Joni McKinney Smith; two daughters, Christy Smith and Jessica Rhodes; three sons, Chad Rhodes (Katie), Eric Rhodes (Christina), and Zachery Smith; a bonus son, Adrian Wagers (Ashley); one sister, Brenda Smith Grimes; brothers, Mervel Smith, Billy Cummings (Carol), and Rick Danner (Michelle); six grandchildren, Shayla, Hailey, and Hannah Sullivan, Lily, Olivia, and Madelynn Rhodes; along with his beloved furbaby, Bruno.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.  A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Bardstown Event Center, 111 N. 4th Street, Bardstown, KY from Noon until 5 p.m.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to American SIDS Institute or the Kentucky Humane Society.
