Clara Rhodes Obituary

Clara Irene Rhodes, 88, of Shepherdsville, passed away April 26, 2023 at her home. She was born May 7, 1934 in Washington, Indiana, to the late Walter and Marian McCullough. She was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church and the past president of the Sweet Adelines. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Smith. She is survived by her loving husband, William T. "Dub" Rhodes; two sons, John Robert and David Joseph Ice; two grandsons, Jonathan David and Jeffrey Thomas Ice; along with three great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Samuel, and Mia Ice. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be private.
