Cova Steven Gee

Steve Gee, 76, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Baptist Health.  He was a native of Canmer, KY, a retired employee of Naval Ordinance, and a Army Vietnam veteran.  Steve was a proud member of the 11th Armored Calvary, Black Horse.    He was preceded in death by his father, Riley Gee; his mother and stepfather, Mardell and George Mouser.  Steve is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jacque Roberts Gee; two daughters, Wendy and Nikki Gee; one son, Chris Gee (Sara); two brothers, Scott Mouser (Shawn) and DeWayne Gee (Jennifer); one sister, Cheryl Giltner (Roger); three grandchildren, Donte' Gee, Izaya Smith, and Brady Gee; along with a host of nieces and nephews.  Cremation was chosen.  There will be a memorial visitation to celebrate his life from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
