Cynthia Faye (Thompson) Receveur

Cynthia Faye Receveur, 52, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at her home.  She was a  1986 graduate of Bullitt East High School and attended Church of the Crossroads.  Cyndi is survived by two sons, Corey (Jessica) and Christian (Victoria) Receveur; a grandson, Colton Receveur; her parents, James and Martha Thompson; her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Benzel; one brother, Jimmy Thompson (Jennifer); and two nephews, Trey and Dayton.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests all gifts in her memory be made to the funeral home to help the children with expenses.
