Cynthia Marie (Schweickart) Wright

Cynthia Halbauer Wright, 58, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at her home.  She was the former Cindy Schweickart,  former employee with the Bullitt County Public School System, and an avid University of Louisville fan.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Judith Hayes; and her stepmother, Sandee Schweickart.  Cindy is survived by two daughters, Melissa Jones and Jessica Halbauer; her father, Ronald Schweickart; one sister, Julie Foster (Gary); three grandchildren, Hailey, Bianca, and Gabrielle; along with two nephews, Kevin and Bradley Foster.  Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to Hosparus of Louisville or American Cancer Society.
