Dallas Kerns, Jr.

Dallas Kerns, Jr., 60, of Georgetown, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.  Dallas was an employee of R & R Steel and a proud U. S. Marine Corp. veteran.  He was preceded in death by his parents,  Dallas Sr. and Geraldine Wilson Kerns; and a sister, Gail Still.  He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Blackman Kerns; two daughters, Elizabeth Votaw (Wayne) and Casey Underwood (Bryan); his stepdaughter, Natasha Meland (Shawn); one sister, Angela Miller (Tommy); along with three grandchildren, Shelby, Cole, and Bentley; three step-grandchildren, Nolan, Ava, and Levi.  Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until time of service on Monday.  Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
