Daniel Richard Marcell

Daniel R. Marcell, 74, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Baptist Health.  Daniel was a retired employee of CSX Railroad and was an Army veteran during the Vietnam era.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Aline Marcell; and his siblings, David, Shirley, Louise, and Laveda.  Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Marian Marcell; three children, Dan Marcell, Norman Kruzich, and Yvonne Kruzich; one sister, Charlotte Fowler; and one beloved granddaughter, Jazmine Kruzich.  Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow.  Friends may visit from 5 p.m. until time of service on Monday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to Donor's Favorite Charity.
