Daniel Earl Parrish

Daniel Earl Parrish, 70, of Mt. Washington, passed away October 27, 2024 at his home.  He was retired from Ford Motor Company, Louisville Assembly Plant. In his early adult life, you could find him on the softball field playing a game he loved. Danny was an avid UK basketball fan and you could often find him counting down the days until basketball season started.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Woody and Lucille Parrish; along with his brother Hubert and two sisters Bonnie Travis and Judy Hayden.  He is survived by his two daughters, Kassie Parrish (Perry), and Kelci Bradley (Jacob); one grandson, Lucas; companion Karen Weber, faithful friend Kay Mayfield-Parrish; two nieces Margie McMahan (Dale) and Donna McMahon; a nephew Eric Hayden (Jennifer); several great nephews and great nieces along with lifelong friends.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit on Sunday from 2 until 7 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Monday.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to the donor's favorite charity.
