Darrell Gene Patterson

Darrell Gene Patterson, 87, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his home.  He was a native of Spencer County, KY, an Army veteran, a longtime member of Kings Baptist Church and current member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.  Darrell's career in engineering management spanned over 47 years where he worked for Logan Company and Ziniz, Inc. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Rebecca Margaret Patterson.  Darrell is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruby Robinson Patterson; two daughters, Kimberly Adams and Michelle Wiseheart (Damon); one brother, Donald Patterson (Glenda); along with two beloved granddaughters, Rebecca Adams and Emily Wiseheart.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to Kings Church Cemetery Fund.
