David Allen Sumner

David Allen Sumner, 58, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.  David was born on May 13, 1966 in Louisville, KY to the late Luther Sumner and Barbara Kennedy Sumner.  David was an employee with ADT Security.  He enjoyed writing music, had a very positive attitude, and a big heart for everyone.    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Sumner Jr. and James Aubrey Sumner; and a stepsister, Janet Skeeters.  David is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Sumner; his stepmother, Sandra Sumner; his mother-in-law, Joyce Fox; father-in-law, Kenneth Pennington; two stepsisters, Donna Parham and Vicci Higgs; along with a host of nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Mount Washington Cemetery.
