Diane Paulley Obituary

Our beloved mother, Diane Rose Paulley, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, October 22nd, surrounded by love. She was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and a heart that held room for everyone—especially her cherished grandbabies, who were the absolute light of her life.
Momma had a special way of seeing the good in others. She always rooted for the underdog and never hesitated to offer a kind word, a helping hand, or a listening ear. Her love was constant, unconditional, and fierce in the gentlest way. Though small in stature, her tenacity and spirit stood taller than most.
She found joy in the simple things—planting flowers, browsing antique shops for hidden treasures, and cheering on her favorite college basketball teams with unwavering spirit. Her laughter, stories, and calming presence will be missed more than words can say.
She is survived by her children: Jason Paulley, Colie (Josh) Nash, and Ashley Paulley; her treasured grandchildren, Lily Smith, Abby Paulley, and Nicholas and Elizabeth Nash; her husband, Gary Paulley, a loving and supportive presence in her life; and her siblings, Gary (Debbie), Dale (Leslie), Carol (Bob), Ron (Jacqueline), Don (Kim), Bonita (Randy), Nick (Kim), and David; along with several other family members and lifelong friends who brought her joy and comfort. Though distance may have separated them, family always held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by one sibling, Calvin Axtman; her parents, Nick and Rose Axtman, her grandbaby, Owen Edward; and another beloved Axtman family baby who was lost too soon.
She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, tenderness, and quiet grace that will live on in those who loved her.
