Donald Gene Musselman

Donald Gene Musselman, 61, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Signature Health Care Center in Taylorsville.  He was a former employee of General Electric.  Gene enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, horse racing, and was an avid UK basketball fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Wayne and Barbara Jean Musselman; along with a brother, Ricky Musselman.  Gene is survived by his son, Travis Musselman; and a sister, Tammy Musselman; and a grandson, Hudson Gene Musselman.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to Mark 12 Ministries.
