Donna Jo (Gross) Cantwell

Donna Jo Cantwell, 69, of Mt. Washington, passed away June 30, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a member of Okolona Church of Christ, spent 44 years in nursing home administration, and loved traveling, but her greatest love was her children and grand-children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Martha Gross; along with her sister, Camilla Dean Dennis.  She is survived by her loving husband John Cantwell; two sons, Jason and Jeremy (Shanni) Cantwell; her daughter, Jennifer Eason (Stevie); a brother, Danny Gross (Tonia); along with five grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers and gifts, please make all memorial contributions to the U of L Health - Brown Cancer Center.  www.uoflhealthfoundation.org.
