Donna Travis McMahon, 60, of Mt. Washington, went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 24, 2025. Donna lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to her family and friends. Donna spent her life taking care of others, above herself and her own needs.
Donna enjoyed many roles in her life. The roles she cherished the most were being a daughter, sister, aunt, caregiver, and wife; whichever role she was playing was done at full speed. As a caregiver, she took care of our parents. After Kevin and Donna were married in December, our dad’s health continued to decline. Donna, with Kevin’s love and support, moved in with dad to care for him until his passing. She was also a caregiver for our mother until she passed; always the devoted daughter.
In Donna’s younger years, she ran a company while being a second mother to three boys. She traveled across the country taking her nephews to baseball tournaments. She was fondly known in our baseball and football family as “Aunt Donna”.
Donna was always in charge of fun, events, and parties. She enjoyed nothing more than having birthdays (with special themed cakes), Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve, Derby, Super Bowl, U of K Games, and any excuse to cook and love on her family and friends. Donna was the Best of us.
The rock that held this family together.
If you knew her, you loved her.
You will be missed.
Forever my sister, Forever my friend.
