Dorlan Vanderpool Obituary

Dorlan Vanderpool, 77, of Irmo, SC, formerly of Louisville, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at the Wellmore Hospice Center.

He was a native of Garrett, KY and a retired employee of General Electric.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sophia Vanderpool; along with a brother, Raymond Vanderpool.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Hagans Vanderpool; a daughter, Kimberly Renay Brown (Robert); a brother, Herman Vanderpool (Connie); along with two grandchildren, Misty and Ashlea Brown.

Due to the current pandemic, all services will be private with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Assciation.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington.
