Dorothy Gaye Fugate

Dorothy Gaye Fugate, 88, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at U of L South Hospital.  Gaye loved her family and loved the Lord.  She was a member of Lighthouse General Baptist Church.  Gaye is survived by two sons, Leonard (Evelyn) and Leon (Barbie) Horton; four daughters, Melynda Lands (David), Terri Lynn Pederson (Paul), Donna Templeton, and Deborah Espine't; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 12 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.  Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
