Edward C. Erwin

Edward C. Erwin, 66, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  He was a retired employee of Louisville Paving, an avid UK fan, and a member of Valley View Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorris Edward and Alma Lane Erwin; and a brother, Lonnie Murren.  Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Rita Erwin; a son, Matthew Edward Erwin (Asia); three sisters, Patricia Passmore, Vivian Fields, and Dorothy Walker (Larry); one brother, Wayne Erwin; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Friday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with a private burial.  Friends may visit from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday.  Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
