Edward Lee Hawkins

Edward Lee "Bo" Hawkins, 45, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Jewish Hospital.  He was an aircraft mechanic.  He enjoyed working on cars and anything mechanical.  He loved the outdoors, whitewater rafting, skydiving, riding motorcycles, and helping with Toys for Tots.  Edward  is survived by his wife, Lucy Hawkins; his parents, Edward E. and Pamela Hawkins; one sister, Amanda Hawkins Lazenby; his uncles, Lee Sublett (Linda) and Peter Vogel; along with several cousins including Paul Burton, Jessica, Steven, and Alex Sublett; and many friends.  Funeral services will be 10 am. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.  Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to Toys for Tots.
