Elizabeth Joann (Bale) Paulley

Elizabeth Joann Paulley, 86, of Fairdale, returned to the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  Joann was a member of Mt. Holly Methodist Church, a former school bus driver, and later took over her family business, S & B Glass Company.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Harvey and Edna Mae Bale; and four siblings, Bruce Bale, Danny Ray Bale, Wanda Wallace, and Donnie Bale.  Joann is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward Eugene Paulley; one daughter, Sharon Kelty (Dan); a son, Gary Paulley (Diane); one brother, Gene Bale; five grandchildren, Jason Paulley (Jennifer), Nicole Nash (Josh), Ashley Paulley (Michael), Ryan Kelty (Bebe) and Lauren Kelty (Cory); along with five great grandchildren, Lily Rose Smith, Abby Lynn Paulley, Nicholas Mark Nash,  Drake Joseph and Paislee Faith Kelty.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mount Holly Cemetery, Fairdale, KY.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to Dare to Care.
