Ernest Fox

Ernest Fox, 85, of Irvington, formerly of Taylorsville, KY, returned to the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at his home.  He was a native of Spencer County, KY, a retired supervisor for Carrier Vibrating Equipment, and member of Living Hope Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon.  He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Nancy Mosley Fox; four children, Ernest Lee Fox Sr. (Kathy), Connie Vittitoe (Ronnie), Janet Fowler (Gary), and Wanda Arnold (Tony); three sisters, Barbara Owen, Katherine Lockwood, and Judy Stephens; along with 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Friends may visit from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to Alzheimer's Association or Living Hope Baptist Church.
