Frank Edward Turner Jr.

Frank Edward Turner, Jr., 77, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Sanders Ridge.  Frank spent a big part of his life serving others.  He was formerly active with the Cub Scouts, sang in the boy's choir at Christ Church Cathedral, a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington, where he had served as a co-leader in the Encouragement Mutual Support Group.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Nellie Turner Sr.; and a brother, George "Rick" Turner.  Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Waller Turner; four children, Boyce Turner (Mandy), Debbie Lynch (Scott), Stephanie Brian (David), and Sean Turner (Lisa); three sisters, Jeannie Carter (Terry), Susie Adams, and Nancy Brown; along with seven grandchildren.  Cremation was chosen.  There will be a memorial visitation on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 12 to 4 p.m. in the Christian Life Center at First Baptist Church.  Memorial gifts are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation.
