Frederick Leo Kelty

Frederick Leo Kelty, 88, of Highview, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home.  Fred was a retired employee of Sears.  He enjoyed having his family together, gardening, and was an avid hunter.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elenora Kelty; a daughter, Vicki Peay; and a sister, Patricia Henegar.  Fred is survived by three children, Diane Weber (Tom), Debbie Stevens (Mark), and Dan Kelty (Sharon); one brother, Jack Kelty;  a sister, Alma Brown; along with eight grandchildren, Nicholas Peay, Jason Peay, Whitney Richardson, Lexy Weber,  Chad Stevens, Tyler Stevens, Ryan Kelty, Lauren Kelty; along with eight great-grandchildren, Felix and Foster Richardson, Adison, Aria, Carson, Hudson Stevens, Drake and Paislee Kelty.  Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to Hosparus of Louisville or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
