Gabriella Ann Bright

Gabriella Ann Bright, 10, of Mt. Washington, Ky. passed away June 7, 2025 at University of Louisville Hospital.  She had just completed her fourth grade year at Mount Washington Elementary School.  Gabriella loved all sports but especially archery, cheerleading, and swimming.  She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Darrell Bright.  She is survived by her parents, Michael Wright and Erica Bright; her brother, Aaden Cole Hardin; her grandparents, John and Trisha Wright, Sheila Newton, and Jayme Bright (Theresa); her great-grandparents, Judy Bright, Tom and Karen Newton, and Charles and Alice Seigle; her aunts, Kaycee Bright, Brooklyne Wright, and Kristen Wright; her uncles, Tyler Vires and Dalton Hendren; along with four great-aunts, one great-uncle, and several cousins.  Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with cremation to follow.  Friends may visit after 3 p.m. on Monday.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you to support Gabriella's dream of becoming a veterinarian, by making all memorial contributions to the Kentucky Humane Society.
