Gary Edward Hammond

Gary E. Hammond, 78, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, KY.   He was born on March 21, 1947 to the late Arthur and Genevieve Hammond in Louisville, KY.  Gary was a U. S. Marine Corp veteran, and a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington. He is survived by a sister, Pamela Hatfield (Barry); and brother, Michael Hammond (Elaine).  A Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Resthaven Memorial Park with military honors.
