Gladys Faye Sanders

Gladys Faye Sanders, 79, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at her home.  Faye was born on July 16, 1945 in Mt. Washington, KY to the late Basil and Nancy Sanders.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, walks with her family, and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Rudolph Paul, Billy Edward, James Donald, Bobby Dean, Daryl and Kenneth Ray Sanders, Helen Doris Lee, Wanda Lois Riddle, and Judy Chesser; along with her beloved dog, Jack.  Faye is survived by one son, Darin Lee Sanders; one brother, David B. Sanders; a granddaughter, Crystal Nicole Samuels (Derek); one great granddaughter, Jasmine Marie Samuels; along with a host of nieces and nephews, including Marlene Breeden and Carlene Greenwell who helped care for her.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.
