Glen Rozel Nutt

Glen R. Nutt, 82, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his home in Bardstown.  He was a native of Bullitt County, retired from Nutt Construction Co., an Airforce veteran, and a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and working.  He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Nutt; his parents, Claud and Ruby Nutt; and brothers, Van, Donnie, and Lyndol Nutt.  Glen is survived by his wife, Barbara Gritton Nutt; one son, Michael Nutt; three daughters, Deborah Sills, Diane Davis, and Vicki Russell; one  brother, Danny Nutt; three sisters, Darlene Foreman, Fonda Harrod, and Mable Swearingen; 10 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 3 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.  Private burial in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.   Memorial gifts are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation.
