Goldyn Grace Smith

Goldyn “Grace” Smith, 20, of Mt. Washington, passed away on December 18, 2023.   Gracie was a former student at Bullitt East High School, where she played the baritone in the marching band.    She was a free spirit, enjoyed the outdoors, rock climbing, and her time working in Yosemite National Park.  She was also a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her grandma, Patricia French; and her mama, Connie Woolums.  Gracie is survived by her mother, Bobbi Smith; her father, Mike Smith; three sisters, Anna Claire, Samantha Raven, and Olivia Grace Smith; her “grammer”, Paula Waldridge; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.   Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
