Harold Ray Thomas

Harold Ray Thomas, 84, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Baptist Health. He was a retired employee of General Electric, a member of Salt River Masonic Lodge #180, and the Eastern Star Chapter #552.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, LaVern Thomas; his parents, Lawrence and Ora Thomas; and a sister, Pauline Smith.

Harold is survived by two daughters, Deborah Paulin and Tammy Cross; Two sons, Larry (Janene) and Scott Thomas; stepson, Terry Carney (Karen); Along with 13 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; & 1 Great-Great Grandson.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in the Willisburg Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 11 a.m. Sunday.  There will be a Masonic service held at 7 p.m. and a Eastern Star service held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.
