Haynes Darrell Todd

Haynes Darrell Todd, 85, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at his home in Taylorsville, KY surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Sonora, KY on May 25, 1941 to the late James Aspen Todd Jr. and Lee Etta Evans Todd.  After serving in the Army, he worked at General Electric for over 30 years.  Following his retirement from General Electric, he enjoyed fishing as much as possible.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Doyle, Donnie, Jackie, and Randy Todd,   Darrell is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Ann Boyles Todd; six children, all of Taylorsville, Julie Hollar (Shane), Donna Tipton (Mike), Valerie Hunt (Will), Jason Todd (Melissa), Jeffrey Todd, Justin Todd (Courtney); nine grandchildren, Hunter and Zachary Tipton, Jacob, Joshua, and Nicholas Hollar, Colton, Baylee, Lane and Cade Todd; two great grandchildren, Beckett Todd and Charlotte Hollar;  one sister, Wanda Owens (James); along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.   Mr. Todd will be laid to rest at a future date in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
