Hayze Mattingly

Hayze Mattingly, 72, of Somerset, OH, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Altercare of Somerset.  He was preceded in death by his father, Hezekiah Mattingly; a brother, Roger Dale Chesser; and a sister, Elisa Mae Combs.  Hayze is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Lehman and Faith Blackerby; his mother, Ruby Mattingly; four sisters, Elizabeth Ann Needy, Etalka Mattingly, Mary Rose Cummins, and Hilda Mattingly; two brothers, James Earl and John Edmond Combs; along with several grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday.
