Helen Louise Hahn, 84, of Bardstown, passed away August 3, 2022 at Green Meadows Healthcare, Mount Washington. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Haven, where she loved working with the Vacation Bible School Program, and a former housekeeper for Flaget Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Glenna Lewis; her husband, Ishmael Hahn; a son, Michael Wayne Hahn; along with her siblings, Jimmy, Charlene, Obie, Norma, and Steve. She is survived by her son, Aaron Hahn (Carla); two daughters, Terri Sorrell (Paul) and Penny Mattingly (Anthony); one brother, Leo Lewis; a sister, Elaine Mattingly; along with six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 3-7 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church, New Haven.
