Henry Ray Barnes, 87, of Mt. Washington, passed away August 25, 2025. Henry was a retired farmer, Bullitt County Public Schools bus driver, and a member of First Baptist Church Mount Washington. He was also involved with Toby Tours, enjoyed playing rook, playing softball, and was an avid University of Louisville fan and Trump supporter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Barnes; his loving wife, Barbara; a son, Stephen Ray Barnes; two brothers, Oscar Sylvester and James William Barnes; along with a grand-daughter, Brooke Husband. He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Gayle Summitt, Leisa Ann Kelty, and Kathy Jo Husband (Kevin); a stepson, Martin Keplinger (Mary); a stepdaughter, Sandra Zieger (Bill); along with 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 30 , 2025 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery. Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
