Herman Clinton Neathery

Herman Clinton Neathery, 84, of Mt. Washington, passed away May 30, 2022 at Green Meadows Health Care Center.  He was a retired employee of Johnson Controls, a United States Army Veteran, and enjoyed woodworking and collecting marbles and stamps.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Ernestine; a son, Clinton; along with two brothers, Dale and Kevin Lee Neathery.  He is survived by his sister, Betty Sanders (David); close friends, Greg and Cheryl Blandford; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from noon until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Bullitt County Animal Shelter.
